Postcards from Paris

One of my favorite shows from Paris Fashion Week is
scheduled for the 1st of October 4pm Paris time, that is tomorrow,
and I decided to dedicate this post to Chloé's focus on embroidery.

The intricately fun work of embroidery by Chloé has been flouting around my head.
Here is a video from Chloé's The Alphabet!

chasing light

I'm currently giggling with my sweet boy. He asked me..."What is a Hipster?"

I never imagined that "language barriers" would actually come into play
so much in my life (then again...I did). It's one of my out
most favorite thing ever in the sense of making me
smirk because of silly mistakes or
wonderful accents.

In another sense,
I'm a language fanatic and language
barriers can also make me quite sad. You know,
always wishing you had that switch behind your ear and instantly be
fluent in any language. It can cause many doors to simply shut close, including
the one that describes your very own personality. But that's also just another language barrier.

I have been driving through town and....not so much town, lately.
Caused nightmares though :(

Everything becomes so sad and frustrating when important people in your life don't really show trust in you sometimes.

It's unfair.
I shouldn't let it get to me so badly though...wah

keep it locked,

20 September 2012

I honestly apologize for not posting this earlier on here.

I've been a beehee about it because we weren't able to post this one on Vimeo.
:( Boo.
Still, Ruby and I worked our arses off for this and it's so worth every minute!

my simple advice:
Let the video load, full screen it, sit back and enjoy.

Maybe in the near future it'll be up on Vimeo. But then again, I heard YouTube will be remodeling soon.
(fingers crossed for nicer decor)

(P.S. watch it in HD if your internet allows it)

Postcard from my head

I'm trying to try.

I don't think it's good to feel somewhat like Sisyphus.

Thinking about that reminds me of those oh so loved discussions I used to hide behind my sweater from.

Except for that day I think.

Maybe I knew this was coming?

Most likely.

Plus tard

Update for the sake of looking back and not remembering my life:
                                 This past week I've
Gotten myself behind a new car (White Jetta VW!)
                                             //
Witnessed a natural birth (Welcome baby Luca)
                                           //
   Welcomed Autumn appropriately (see below)
                                          //
Found myself a new bed: my downstairs couch.
                                         //
And have been hunting down job opportunities.

Apart from all this mess, I have once again regained my sanity and reminded myself of the great decision of not going straight into school after getting out of school.

It's always nice to keep in mind that we are all different and no matter what it is you are doing,
it is really important to simply remain happy.

I also want to personally thank my dear Ruby for being so wonderful and supportive with this post!

And if you aren't already you should be following her as well!

Lack of words (bring out the visuals)

Dear PFW & LFW,
From a sad place in my heart apologies go out to you for having to delay my presence
yet again this year. Luckily my mac and I have become closer and I haven't let one show pass me by.

À l'année prochaine!

Here, of course, is one of my most favored New York show:
(feel free to re-live the show)
Alexander Wang

Crossing the pond, LFW's
Burberry Prorsum

I was in the mood of posting this one because I always adore the location and I'm excited to rivive some next-leveled metallics into my life !
(Although I'm a big fan of the absence of color i.e. Alexander Wang, the colors in the show are perfect.)

Here's another video to end this post: PARIS vs NEW YORK!

Tired as honey

Emmylou by First Aid Kit on Grooveshark

Deception becomes worst when the person you are disappointing is yourself.
After endless hours (which turned into days) of the wild intent to scurry, two days ago it became pretty clear. I won't be leaving.

The sadness in my heart can be seen in my eyes.

So many consecutive years of dreaming of a real winter and a place where I actually feel happy.
Seems sad when I say it but it's all true.

Now, looking through my old posts I'll repeat something that I seemed to have said a year ago:
I refuse to stay happy until I see some change.

Time to stand by that (sadness and all) for a couple more months...

Ciao
