petite rendez-vous

Sometimes the smallest, hidden places where you wouldn't expect much from
can turn out to be simply magnifique!

A small stop up on a mountain by a cyclopean bridge and the
welcoming of cold winds from the night---
Lovely rendez-vous like these can become the most memorable.

@ a rest-stop,
Japan.

Edible sights

First week back I have spent laying around and simply being a willow tree.
I found it so difficult to go out and so bored with everything back "home". Unable to regain interest in my surroundings and finding myself mixed with emotions.

I am feeling slightly better today, luckily. Been checking up on pending plans for future excursions and planning many things that include surrounding myself with what makes me happy.

Looking back:

The first set of photos are from a lovely day spent around Mishima, the library and Sun to Moon
to be exact, where I had the chance to go to MOS BURGER Restaurant "Japanese Fine Burger and Coffee" and later shop/look around some wonderful stores. Ending our day with some Tully's Coffee--

This second set takes place in one of the most magical places I went to during my stay in Japan. We first went to a park very near our home and got the chance to witness a traditional wedding as well as some deer & doe! Later in the day, we headed off to Clematis no Oka where the beauty was overwhelming (in a good way of course!).

With art museums, flowers, and food as its central theme, Clematis No Oka made a big impact on me. The beautiful NOHORA was one of the museum shops located in Clematis; a definite must go to.   We enjoyed some gelato at Ciao Ciao, where we could find authentic Napoli pizzas and shot some photos by the Italian Ristorante Primavera.

"The Clematis flowers are in bloom from May to June and August to September."

We ended this day with some baked goods and sky bathing with bug spray in hand.
